Why a blog?

So why a blog? Well, perfumery is such an incredible subject. It holds a fascination that can be quite intoxicating at times and to have been able to work within this industry – for nearly 40 years now - has been a real privilege. In some ways I still feel that I have only just scratched the surface; in others I think I have probably gained some quite useful knowledge that can be used to discuss, debate, explode myths, maybe offer advice and generally share my enthusiasm for perfumery with others.
